Kiddlywinks

Privacy policy

Last updated November 8, 2026

Kiddlywinks makes games for young children: this website, kiddlywinks.tv, and the Kiddlywinks app for iPhone, iPad and Android. We built both so that children can play without anyone collecting information about them. This page explains, in plain words, what we do and don't keep.

The short version

The website

The website has no accounts and doesn't collect anything about your child. Best scores and the sound setting are saved in your browser's own storage on your device, and never sent to us. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for a short time to run and protect the site.

Some pages show our YouTube videos. The YouTube player only loads when someone taps play, and it uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once a video plays, Google's privacy policy applies to that video.

The app without an account

Anyone can play as a guest. Guest best scores and settings stay on the device and are never sent to us. The app downloads new levels (photos, sounds and level lists) from kiddlywinks.tv, which works like visiting a web page.

Parent accounts in the app

A parent or guardian aged 18 or over can create an account in the grown-ups area of the app, behind a grown-ups check. When you do, we keep:

That's all. We don't ask for a child's real name, age, birthday, photo, voice or location.

Notifications

If you turn on "Tell me about new games" in the grown-ups area, we keep a notification token for your device so we can tell you when a new game arrives. You can turn it off at any time in the app or in your device settings, and we delete the token when you do. The app never asks for notification permission on a child's screen.

Who helps us run it

We use a small number of service providers, only to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (account emails), Expo (delivering notifications), and Apple or Google if you choose to sign in with them. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep account information while your account is open. You can remove a child profile, and all of its scores, from the grown-ups area at any time. You can delete your whole account from the grown-ups area too, which permanently removes your account, every child profile and all scores. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your information or to have it deleted.

Children's privacy

Kiddlywinks is designed for children, and we follow the rules that protect them, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the US and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code. We don't collect personal information from children. Accounts belong to parents, and everything children use is set to the most private option by default.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If you have a question or a request, email us at hello@kiddlywinks.tv.
